The evening saw an interesting array of events like Dance Competition, Singing Competition, Dramatics, Mono Acting etc., which provided an opportunity to the newly admitted students of DTU showcase their talent in various fields. Mr. Karan Rana and Miss. Mansi Dhimman were chosen as Mr. & Miss Fresher-2010 respectively, on the occasion. They along with winners of the competitions held during the Fresher’s Night were felicitated with certificates and prizes by the Vice Chancellor.

The biggest highlight of the Fresher’s Night however, was the ‘Fash-Pe’ or Fashion Parade, where first year students sashayed down the ramp and displayed clothes under two themes “Ethinic Wear” and “Party Time”. The evening concluded with a jam session, which saw both juniors and seniors letting their hair loose and dancing together on pulsating music.
